The John Lennon Rooftop strap is a replica of the model that John Lennon wore at the last public concert of the Beatles, on January 30, 1969 on the roof of the Apple Corps headquarters in London. Originally a bold idea of John who was looking for an open venue to host the concert, the band played hits like “Get Back” and “Don’t Let Me Down” to the delight of the crowd. The strap was attached to an Epiphone Casino guitar, which became emblematic of John Lennon’s sound over the next few years.
