EFW74

D'Addario EFW74 flatwound mandolin strings are made with a complex combination of interleaved sub-windings over a hexagonal core to support the flat outer winding (ribbon). This unique design lets the strings vibrate freely to deliver a clear, authentic sound while offering an extremely pleasant feel. Created for jazz, classical and folk musicians, they offer unmatched comfort for playing in tight positions and across the whole neck.

Description

D'Addario EFW74 Flatwound Mandolin strings are constructed using a complex combination of interlocking underwindings on a hex core, which builds the foundation for a delicate outer flat (ribbon) winding. This unique design allows the strings to vibrate freely, creating a true, clear sound and an ultra-smooth feel. Created for jazz, classical, and folk players, they deliver unparalleled comfort for playing closed position fingerings and along the fretboard.
