For 1/10 double bass with a 710 mm (28") scale length
Designed for 1/10-size double basses with a 710 mm (28") scale length, this new version has been optimized with a lower tension to improve playability. These strings are also suitable for 1/16-size instruments. Helicore Orchestral double bass strings are made with a multi-strand steel core to offer warm tone and an exceptional bow response. Thanks to the special design of their core, these strings are very easy to play with the left hand. Optimized for bowing, they will also suit pizzicato if you are looking for very warm tone with less sustain.
