For double bass
Designed for 1/2-size double basses with a 975 mm (38 3/8") scale length, these Medium tension strings are optimized to meet the needs of the vast majority of musicians. Prelude double bass strings are made with a multi-strand steel core to offer warm tone and a good bow response. Thanks to the special design of their core and their reduced tension, these strings make playing considerably easier and are especially ideal for young musicians who are just starting out. Perfect for educational settings, Prelude double bass strings maintain a warm, clear sound that blends well in an ensemble.
