Designed for 4/4-size violins with a 328 mm (13") scale length, the Medium tension strings are optimized to meet the needs of the vast majority of musicians. Kaplan violin E strings offer the traditional rich sound expected from high-quality steel E strings. Different options are available to meet a wide range of musical needs, including plain steel, aluminum-wound and gold-plated models.
The Kaplan Solutions non-whistling E string is specially designed to solve whistling problems on the E string when played open. It offers a warm, rich sound that blends very well with the lower strings.
