Enjoy a less neutral, more nuanced sound with Kaplan Vivo viola strings. Kaplan Vivo offers bright, well-defined tone, with a stiffer, faster response for superior bounce. Combined with their quick break-in time and improved projection, Kaplan Vivo strings deliver professional-level performance that lets violists easily bring out the rich tonal palette of their instrument. Kaplan strings are available in different sizes to meet the needs of musicians throughout their learning journey. Kaplan viola strings give professional musicians a full range of options designed to meet their needs: two ranges of synthetic-core strings, Kaplan Amo and Kaplan Vivo, as well as our existing range of multi-strand steel-core strings, renamed Kaplan Forza. Kaplan Amo offers warmth, richness and suppleness for brighter-sounding instruments, while Kaplan Vivo provides brilliance, clarity and a robust feel for darker-sounding instruments. Both versions adapt quickly to your instrument and deliver a rich tonal palette and a superb bow response. Kaplan Forza, our range of multi-strand steel-core strings, offers a higher degree of tonal clarity and definition, an even faster bow response and a shorter break-in time for your instrument.
