The Traditional double bass set has a design and tension similar to acoustic bass string sets, to offer warm tone and an excellent bow response. Intended for electric upright basses with a standard scale length and a short overall length (without tailpiece). Designed in partnership with Ned Steinberger and NS Design, D'Addario NS Electric strings can be fitted to electric instruments to reveal all their qualities. Each string is designed to enhance the range of expressive tone sought by the most demanding musicians. The set is intended for standard tuning (G, D, A, E). Low B and high C strings are also available as single strings.
