Patented in 1977 by James How, these stainless steel bass strings are pressed between two rollers, which flattens the winding without removing any material. This reduces finger friction noise and makes moving along the neck easier.
In terms of sound, the mids are more present. These strings are particularly recommended for recording and for rather calm, melodic musical styles. They are available in two gauges for 4-string bass and one gauge for 5-string.
Made since 1958 in Kent, England, RotoSound strings are shipped directly from the factory to your store. This distribution system keeps the carbon emissions generated during transport to a minimum.
