Made in the United States from high-quality metals imported from Sweden containing more than 17% chromium, this premium stainless steel forms an invisible, resistant and highly protective layer of chromium oxide on the surface of the string. The presence of excess chromium and the moisture contained in the air are responsible for the formation of this layer. As soon as it starts to deteriorate, it regenerates through the same process.
